After immigrating to Canada from India in 2010, I created a diverse property portfolio for my family and have been a real estate investor in the Lower Mainland for the last 8 years. My first reason for joining eXp Realty is to help others build a legacy for their family as I did. Experience
I have over 20 years of experience in Business and Marketing in various sectors, including Industrial import/export, stocks, home hardware manufacturing, home improvement goods and services marketing, financial advisory, and property investment.
In India I primarily worked on my family business (SDVed Ltd.), and since coming to Canada I have worked various other markets including stocks and insurance.

Education and Credentials
I completed my Bachelors in Computer Applications from A.M.U in 1999, and worked managing my family systems and investment portfolio. After coming to Canada, I've studied ECE,
been LLQP Certified, and gotten my Real Estate trading services license after studying at UBC Sauder.

Background
My family is proud to call our motherland India, and both my daughters were born there.

In 2011, we created a charity organization (Friends For Cause Foundation) to give back to the nation. Every year since, we hold a charity event to fundraise, and also use over a third of our income to fund our various projects under FFCF.

These projects include providing free cataract eye surgeries (approx. $50 each), eye glasses (approx. $1 each), education, skills etc. to the poorest in our society in India. In the first year, we funded 25 cataract surgeries out of personal funds.

To make sure this work is done well, my husband has been going to India every year since 2011, getting real work done on the ground-level. Since then, we have provided over 3,800 free cataract surgeries, and over 30,000 free eye glasses. Our goal for 2021-2022 is 1,600 surgeries.
